As if regular artists weren't weird enough! Filmmaker Tim Burton’s signature artwork is coming to the Museum of Modern Art this year.
The exhibit will run from Nov. 22 through April 2010 and is sponsored, appropriately, by the Sci Fi Channel. The director, of Beetlejuice fame, will be the subject of an exhibit based on his immense body of work from his prolific career. His dark, imaginative style contributed to cult classics like Edward Scissorhands and The Nightmare Before Christmas. The display will feature parts of his 14 films as well as more than 700 pieces of artwork, and for the first time, fans will have a chance to see his animation from his days as a student at the California Institute of Art.
