The new High Line Park seems to be the gift that keeps on giving. First, it converted an old railroad track into a beautiful architectural park that serves as an excellent summer retreat from the hot and muggy sidewalks. Now, it is offering up some new heat by providing some shockingly candid views into the rooms at The Standard Hotel.
As reported by Curbed, a visitor to the High Line Park over the July 4th weekend was treated to an after-hours fireworks display of sorts. After seeing a crowd assembled looking up into the hotel windows this individual decided to see what all the fuss was about.
The tipster told Curbed, … “It turns out a woman was getting ready in her hotel room completely naked and prancing around near the window as she tried on various outfits. As it was night, the entire room was lit up and in plain view. I've heard anecdotally that other salacious things have been witnessed through the windows while standing underneath the hotel. Whoever thought to build a hotel straddling the High Line is a genius.”
