Robbers Nabbed While Fleeing

two young muggers were caught after attempting to rob a pedestrian in front of 10 w. 65th st. and central park west. police said that on may 19 at 2 a.m., rudy gomez, 20, and jose ramirez, 18, approached a 30-year-old brooklyn resident and threatened him. one grabbed the victim, demanding his wallet. an off-duty police officer saw the altercation and apprehended the two muggers, who were charged with robbery.
