Schools Out For Summer

Its time to fold up those books and pack up those pencils. Today, millions of happy kids across the city are celebrating the [last day of school] and the first official day of summer. Hopefully, that means theyll also get a break from the military recruiters roaming school hallways in search of their [latest targets](http://www.newyorkpress.com/20/26/news&columns/feature.cfm), encouraging students to postpone college for service, and making promises counter-recruitment activists say they cant keep. Then again, we wouldnt be surprised if recruiters started showing up at camp, too.
