Stealing the Show

a man stole a 61-year-old woman's purse aug. 25 while she watched a movie at lowe's theater at 1998 broadway and west 68th street. the woman told police that the handbag was on the chair next to her when a man grabbed it and ran. she chased after but lost him when he ran out of the theater's doors. the pocketbook contained $4 cash, an ipod and credit cards.
