Stick Attack on West 80th Street

On West 80th Street on March 3rd just after midnight, an unknown man attacked a 33-year-old man walking down the street, with intent to harm. He engaged the victim in physical altercation, striking him in the left side of the head with a stick. The victim then struck his assailant in the face with a closed fist multiple times. Both men were taken to the hospital, and police arrested the assailant, a 33-year-old Hispanic man, for assault, and recovered two knives from his pockets.
