Terrorist Suspect Charged

On Friday, [charges were brought against a New York man] accused of trying to send $152,000 to buy various equipment including night vision goggles for a terrorist training camp in Afghanistan. The New York sun reports that Abdul Tawala Ibn Ali Alishtari, 53, from Ardsley, N.Y. has been charged in an indictment in Federal District Court in Manhattan with financing terrorism and material support of terrorism, money laundering, wire fraud conspiracy and wire fraud.
