Thief Bags Seriously Pricey Purse

Poor celebrities. They have it so rough these days. The Post reported today that earlier this month two burglars broke into a penthouse at the posh SoHo Grand Hotel and [robbed starlet Kirsten Dunst] of her iPod, two digital cameras, a cell phone, cash and—the true tragedy—her [$13,000 Marc Jacobs purse](http://www.forbes.com/forbeslife/collecting/2006/05/23/luxury-handbags-fashion_cx_ls_0524feat_ls.html?partner=links). [Dunst](http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000379/) had just left the room to shoot scenes for her new film, “How to Lose Friends and Alienate People,” when the robbery occurred.

The perpetrators were caught entering and exiting the hotel on security cameras, and police are [already holding one suspect] on burglary and grand-larceny charges. While we are, of course, in shock over the horrific, malicious incident, what’s probably more surprising is that the Post ran an almost 600-word article on the crime. On second thought, maybe we’re not.
