Two Arrested for Burglary

two people were arrested feb. 17 after burglarizing an apartment on west 83rd street, between riverside drive and west end avenue. at 10:30 a.m., police saw 46-year-old jimmy sharpe and his 16-year-old male accomplice casing several apartment buildings. while the teen acted as lookout, police said they saw sharpe push open the door of the west 83rd street building. sharpe and his teen accomplice were arrested and charged with burglary upon exiting the building. sharpe was also found with a glass pipe that allegedly contained crack.
