A Wait List For New Homeless Shelter?

[New York is now the proud new papa of a cutting edge homeless shelter that does not enforce a curfew or ][require residents to give up alcohol and drugs upon entry]. Cool! It’s like living at your parents, but without all those freedom-cramping rules. The Safe Haven shelter opened two months ago as part of Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s plan to reduce the city’s homeless population by two-thirds by 2009.
