ALERT: Soho Manholes Gone Wild

If you're anywhere below 14th street and wondering what all the sirens are for, an eyewitness reports that a manhole explosion has occurred at Houston and Sullivan (avoid, avoid!). Right now the entire area is being blocked off as firefighters look for the source of the sewer's indigestion.
