Beyond AM, Beyond FM, Beyond Boring
Here is yet another sign that the presidential season has started too early and has been subject to probably too much early coverage.
XM Radio in conjunction with C-SPAN has just announced the launch of "POTUS '08," a new channel dedicated to 24/7 coverage of the 2008 presidential elections. The channel will be available to any XM receiver, even if it the owner doesn't actually subscribe to the XM service. So, all the Opie & Anthony fans that canceled their service will still be able to listen to debate coverage.
"This channel is a unique public service opportunity to provide our listeners with a commercial-free and politically neutral destination that is focused solely on this important presidential election," said Hugh Panero, chief executive officer, XM Satellite Radio.
I'm sure this will be just riveting. More [here].
