Boss "Burning" Over Miniseries

Here’s some breaking news for everyone who’s been living in a cave for the past six years: The Boss isn’t happy. This time, however, it’s not because the Yankees are trailing the Red Sox [by seven games]. It’s not even because the Bronx Bombers haven’t won a championship in nearly a decade. Nope, this time Mr. Steinbrenner is upset because he doesn’t like how [he’s being portrayed](http://www.1010wins.com/pages/700109.php?contentType=4&contentId=704439) on ESPN’s new miniseries “[The Bronx is Burning](http://www.bronxisburning.com).”

George hasn’t had his normal public outbursts all season despite the fact that his precious New York Yankees have been sucking more than a Thai prostitute, but now he’s really irked that Oliver Platt – who portrays Mr. Steinbrenner in the show – doesn’t dress nearly as nice him. According to his publicist Howard Rubenstein, Platt’s hair wasn’t up to par either. In addition he thinks the show portrays him as too angry. “They never found a softer, kindler, gentler George,” he said. Way to get your priorities straight, George.
