Breaker, Breaker For Fred Thompson

If you enjoy Fred Thompson's brand of conservatism and drive big rig, have I found a group for you.

"Truckers With Fred" officially launched today, combining Thompson's presidential campaign with a love of the open road. The stated mission of the group is two-fold. First, help Thompson's entry to the race. Then help him win.

"This thing has really started to move," says Bob Fauls, who along with his wife Chris Fauls, have been named the first National Directors of the group by its initial members. "It's a real labor of love. We knew, from talking with friends in the industry that a lot of truckers were interested in a Fred Thompson run. The more we talked about it, the more we realized it would be great if the industry could voice their support together."
