Get Hospitalized

| 11 Nov 2014 | 01:36

Today, more evidence was released that the United States has secret torture prisons abroad, the government just weakened the federal Clean Water act and Paris Hilton doesn’t have to stay in the penitentiary after all. With all of the bad news around the world these days, you need something to laugh about. Enter Secret Hospital, the sketch comedy group whose premiere show is tomorrow night at the [People’s Improv Theatre] (154 West 29th Street).

The group brings together veterans of the Upright Citizens Brigade, Caroline’s Comedy Club, Spike TV and a handful of other comedy outlets to bring you a clever set of sketches and videos to get your mind off all that not-so-amusing stuff you’ve been thinking about. It features funny people Michael Hartney, Patrick Inglis, Rachel Korowitz, Stan Laikowski, Dan McInerney and Jeff Scherer. Shows are on Saturdays June 9, 16 and 23 at 9:30. ($8, 212-563-7488 or [brownpapertickets.com] for tickets)
