Pick of the Litter: The Cutest (And Most Adoptable) Pet of the Week

| 21 Nov 2014 | 10:12

Amanda is a large and lovely 5.5 year old feline that came to Bideawee when her owner passed away. This laidback, super friendly kitty loves to be brushed, held, petted, and even likes to have her belly rubbed! Amanda would do well in a home with gentle children or with first-time cat people. When you meet Amanda, you may notice her right forelimb looks somewhat bent. Our orthopedic specialist determined that Amanda has chronic arthritis caused by abnormal healing of a previous fracture that was not treated by her previous owner. In order to reduce her arthritis and prevent further injury, we recommend that she continue her diet to stay thin and fit. Amanda is a staff favorite and we'd all love to see her thriving in a loving home.

Color:  white/silver black Weight: 13lbs Temperment: she thinks she's a dog. Origins: came to Bideawee when her owner passed away. Ideal Home: she's low maintenance and would be well suited for a  variety of environments. Quirky Trait/Talent:  Amanda loves to be groomed like a dog, and loves belly rubs!
