'Roe,' Meet Sam

Conservative Kansas Republican Senator Sam Brownback (pictured) can now count on Norma McCorvey, the "Jane Roe" in Roe v. Wade, to support his presidential bid.

Though she centered in the most important abortion rights trial ever, McCorvey is now pro-life, and is backing Brownback for his commitment to her own views on abortion, which contrast sharply with her historical role on the issue (she now supports overturning the court decision).

“Norma McCorvey knows firsthand the darkness of the abortion industry – its danger to both unborn children and their mothers. Her experience as the poster child for the abortion movement exponentially increases the power of her pro-life testimony. I stand with her in her quest to overturn Roe v Wade,” Brownback said.
