[The New York Sun] has printed an interesting article on the city’s condom distribution plan. That’s right, 1.5 million condoms are given away—as in for free—to various health clinics throughout New York City … And, oh yeah, local barber shops get some, too. Cool. Last month, the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene got all tech-savvy, launching an Internet-ordering system and—we gather—seriously improving the city’s safe-sex statistics (they used to only distribute about 250,000). And here’s the good news, the really, really, really good news: Any group (though we’re not sure if the high school Lacrosse team counts) who wants to offer free condoms and lubricant can simply go online to [www.nyccondom.org](http://www.nyc.gov/html/doh/html/ah/ah-condoms.shtml) and request up to 10,000 condoms. And, they can make as many orders as they want! That’s a whole lotta lovin’. It’s a shame shipping won’t guarantee delivery by Christmas.
