Bad Ending for Honeymoon

a couples' honeymoon ended on a sour note when they returned home to find thousands of dollars worth of jewelry missing. the young couple contacted police june 3 after finding the door to their apartment, on west 62nd street and columbus avenue, open. the jewelry was stored in the nightstand. police said the burglar took diamond earrings, bracelets and watches worth $27,100. there were no signs of forced entry.
