Bellini Burglarized

a former employee at bellini, a restaurant at 483 columbus ave. near west 83rd street, was arrested for breaking into the premises. police said that feb. 28 at 12:30 a.m., victor gutirrez-velazquez, who had been fired five weeks earlier, was arrested after witnesses spotted him in the kitchen. gutirrez-velazquez, 30, allegedly entered with a stolen key and stashed a cash register containing $1,200 in a white plastic bag. he was found wearing a knapsack that contained a large meat cleaver, according to cops. the ex-employee was charged with burglary.
