CITY ANNOUNCES G&T ADMISSIONS

the city has released the details of admission to gifted and talented programs for september 2010. parents of children going into kindergarten through 3rd grade must submit a "request for testing" form by nov. 6.

kids entering kindergarten or the 1st grade who score at the 90th percentile or above will be guaranteed placement in their school district's gifted program. students who reach the 97th percentile or above can apply to citywide gifted programs. the test will be given in january and february.
