A 45-year-old man working in a bodega on Second Avenue stated that just after 11 p.m. on Monday, June 17, a 28-year-old man entered the store, put on gloves, and went behind the counter. A second man, approximately 30 years old and very muscular, entered the store and pointed a silver semiautomatic gun at the store clerk. The first thug removed cash from two cash registers and punched the clerk in his head. Both men then fled southbound on Second Avenue on foot. The clerk refused medical attention. The two bad guys had ripped the store off for the total amount of $2,250 in cash.
