Left in the Church

Someone stole a woman's property in a church. At 1 PM on Sunday, January 19, a 66-year-old woman working in a church on Central Park West realized that somebody had stolen her purse containing a Samsung Galaxy cell phone, her driver's license, credit cards, and a Kindle tablet. The total value of the stolen property amounted to $560.

Coffee Snatch

A woman's bag was taken in a coffee shop. At 4:30 PM on Saturday, January 18, a woman left her bag on the table in a chain coffee shop on Broadway and walked away, leaving her property unattended. When she returned a few minutes later, the bag was missing along with its contents, including credit cards and house keys.

Gym Nasty

Two gym lockers were broken into at a gym on Amsterdam Avenue. In the afternoon of Thursday, January 16, someone broke into two lockers at the gym. Two men lost their credit cards, driver's licenses, and a TAG Heuer watch valued at $2,500.

Find My Boyfriend

A man was arrested for taking his girlfriend's iPhone. On Tuesday, January 14, a 23-year-old man punched his 20-year-old girlfriend in the face and took her iPhone while both were riding the subway along Central Park West. The iPhone was equipped with a Find My iPhone app, and the boyfriend was tracked down on 113th street, where he was arrested and charged with robbery.

Exercise in Frustration

Another locker was broken into at a different Upper West Side gym. At 9 PM on Friday, January 10, someone broke the combination lock on a locker in a West 80th Street gym and removed a 30-year-old man's valuables, including a wallet with his credit cards.

Dodge Haul

A man's van was stolen from the street. On Friday, January 10, a man parked his 1997 Dodge Caravan at the corner of West 84th Street and Columbus Avenue. When he returned two days later, he found that the vehicle was missing. No video is available of the incident.
