CUNY FUNDRAISING

cuny chancellor matthew goldstein, pictured, and board of trustees chair benno schmidt, jr. announced a new fundraising campaign on march 25 entitled "invest in cuny, invest in new york." this is the second time cuny launched the fundraising effort, after the successful 2004 push to raise $1.2 billion by 2012. cuny was able to surpass that goal with $1.4 billion in three years. photo by andrew schwartz
