Dessert Distraction

At noon on Sunday, March 31, a 55-year-old woman was walking on Broadway and 79th Street to hail a cab when an unknown man walked by her and got ice cream on her jacket. The woman believes that the cream criminal put the frozen delicacy on her jacket as a distraction while he took her iPod out of her jacket pocket without her knowledge. Her 32-gig Apple iPod was valued at $230. Beware of passersby brandishing gooey cones!
