Dye-ing For It

a man knocked over a chase bank branch on 260 columbus ave. and west 72nd street sept. 30 at 1 p.m. police said the man gave a note to a teller that read, "i have a gun, give me hundreds, fifties and twenties. no dye pack or else." the teller nonetheless handed the robber a dye bag with money from her drawer. the robber ran west on west 72nd street. it is unclear if the dye pack exploded.
