ENVIRONMENTALLY UNFRIENDLY

a woman was arrested on jan. 21 for biting an mta bus driver after she complained about the bus' impact on the environment. cops said the driver picked up sheila bolar on west 73rd street and broadway at 3:05 p.m. after she started screaming at the driver over the fact that the bus was not a hybrid vehicle, the 42-year-old driver called his supervisor. when the driver stood to address the supervisor, bolar, 49, allegedly bit the driver on his upper right arm. the incident occurred near west 79th street.
