Face Full of Garbage

a 28-year-old west end avenue woman was assaulted with a garbage bag on the southwest corner of broadway and west 78th street. on sept. 18 at 8:30 p.m., a man flung a "medium-sized" garbage bag into her face, according to cops. the woman was unclear as to whether the incident was an accident or intentional, but she told police she was definitely in substantial pain. cops said the perpetrator fled on foot.
