Jane's Last Hurrah Not So Thrilling

In hopes of a memorable exit, the [final issue] of New York-based [Jane magazine](www.janemag.com) boasts naked pictures of various lady celebs. But seeing Eva Mendes sprawled out on top of a piano in a Playboy-like pose isn’t my idea of innovation—you know, the type that occurs when you’ve got nothing to lose.

Being the female-oriented mag that it is, nudity isn’t for the sake of nudity. Turns out, eight celebrities including Eva, Joss Stone, Serena Williams (pictured) and a pregnant Milla Jovovich, posed naked for [Clothes Off Our Back]—a non-profit organization that auctions celebrity attire for children in need. This month, beneficiaries include [Children’s Defense Fund](www.childrensdefense.org/), [Cure Autism Now](www.cureautismnow.org/) and the kids in Darfur. Of course, none of those charities have anything to do with Eva's blowjob-suggesting open mouth.

For a glossy that was based on shock value, the only thing remotely eye-popping was seeing memoirist [Liza Monroy] doing naked yoga. But it was good to read Back Stories one last time. R.I.P Jane.
