Jewelry Stolen in Burglary

a burglar swiped $4,250 worth of jewelry from the apartment of a 77-year-old woman april 14. police said the woman left her apartment, on west 79th street between riverside drive and west end avenue, at 12:30 p.m. to run errands. when she returned, the door was ajar and her jewelry was missing. cops said the burglar stole a $450 pair of earrings, a $900 bracelet, a $1,700 pearl necklace and two bracelets worth $1,200.
