Knicks/Nuggets Will Duke It Out

After getting [their first win] against what boils down to a good Division-I college program in the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday, the New York Knicks have a chance to prove they’re a real professional basketball team tonight. The Knicks [will battle the Denver Nuggets](http://scores.espn.go.com/nba/preview?gameId=271106018), a solid team in the superior Western Conference, at MadisonSquareGarden at 7:30 p.m.

It will also be a rematch of the two most thug-filled teams in the NBA. The last time these two met, they turned MSG [into a boxing ring] instead of a basketball arena. Isiah Thomas, who’s rap sheet actually doesn’t include this altercation, showed his classlessness by sending Mardy Collins into the game to foul a Denver player hard. (Denver was blowing out the Knicks and Thomas wanted to salvage his team’s dignity; instead, he ended up looking even dumber than usual). The end result? Ten players were ejected, Carmelo Anthony was suspended 15 games and Thomas swore he was innocent, just like he swears the Knicks are good or that he didn’t [sexually harass](http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,298933,00.html) Anucha Browne Sanders.

Hopefully there will be less punching and more basketball tonight, but with Isiah you never know. Plus, the Knicks acquired Zach Randolph in the offseason, who has a history of [throwing punches his teammates]. If he’ll do that to his own team, just imagine what he does to his enemies
