A 65-year-old woman got on the M15 bus at First Avenue and 25th St. during the afternoon of Wednesday, May 1. Her purse was closed when she got on. The bus was packed, and she stood the whole ride. When she exited the bus on E. 68th St., she went to get something out of her purse and noticed it was open. The contents, including her credit and debit cards, had been removed. The victim canceled all the cards but discovered that her Visa Card had been used in Brooklyn to purchase two $113 MetroCards.
