On Friday, April 12th, at around 11:50 a.m., a man walked into a large commercial bank on Third Avenue and waited for a window to become available. The 21-year-old bank teller told police the man, wearing one latex glove on his right hand, passed a note to her demanding money. The note reportedly said, "This is a bank robbery. Give me all the money in the top and bottom drawer in hundreds and fifties." The teller reported that the man grabbed the money with his right hand and then exited the bank. Witnesses told police the man was seen traveling southbound on Third Avenue, on foot. The suspect made off with $7,400 in cash. No weapons were used and there were no injuries. Police are reviewing video from the scene and are looking for a white male, about 6'2", 180 lbs with blonde hair and blue eyes, last seen wearing jeans and a black ski cap.
