    My Dream Lunch

My perfect lunch is at Le Cirque 2000, Sirio's Eighth Wonder of the World on Madison Ave. The best lunch partner would, of course, be Juliette Binoche, or, say, Helen Hunt. Both ladies have physical defects, but it is just those imperfections that make them so attractive. If they, alas, are unavailable, then I'd choose Henry Kissinger as a partner. Great food, good wine and intelligent conversation a perfect lunch make. My choices from the menu:

The author at Le Cirque 2000, awaiting his lunch guest: Juliette Binoche would be nice, but he'd take Kissinger.

Terrine of Foie Gras "Cuit au Torchon" with Grilled Country Bread

Cod Filet, roasted with Cranberry Beans, Arugula, Red and Yellow Peppers, Tomato Confit and Sweet Garlic

    Braised Veal Shank

Meursault Charmes Domaine Des Comtes Lafon 1992

    Chateau Latour 1970
