A lesbian couple is [suing a Manhattan sperm and embryo bank] for “misplacing” six embryos. Cathy Berger, 48, from New Jersey, and her partner, Adriana Pacheco, 37, who donated the eggs used to create the embryos in May 2003, are seeking at least [$3 million in damages](http://www.upi.com/NewsTrack/Top_News/20070306-094738-7930r/) from [Repro Lab](http://www.reprolabinc.com/), which they say ["carelessly" and "unskillfully"](http://www.nysun.com/article/49899) lost the embryos.

Four months ago, the same lab was involved in another court case—this time involving sperm. A Manhattan judge ruled that  New Jersey couple [did not have legal control] over their dead son's frozen sperm, stored at Repro, which they had wanted to use to have a grandchild.
