NY Presbyterian Ranks High In Kids Care

New York Presbyterian is the [top children’s hospital in the state] and the 8th best in the nation, according to a new U.S. News and World Report ranking. [The hospital](http://www.nyp.org/) also received the highest possible scores in the categories of brain surgery mortality, technology and tetralogy of fallot mortality ($10 bucks to whomever can tell me what that means without clicking [here](http://www.emedicine.com/radio/topic685.htm )). According to [the magazine](http://health.usnews.com/usnews/health/articles/070826/3opener.htm), this year’s rankings are more accurate because they no longer rely exclusively on reputation, but include mortality data for several challenging procedures. Including real data in your rankings? Hmm… Now that’s an idea. You can see the full rankings [here](http://health.usnews.com/usnews/health/best-hospitals/search.php?spec=ihqpeds&).
