Phone Scam

Someone charged the purchase of three cell phones to a man's account without permission or authorization. At 1 PM on Monday, August 19, a 39-year-old man living on East 82nd Street was notified by mail that unknown perpetrators had purchased three cell phones and charged them to his account. He had not received any phones in the mail. He also told police that he was the only person with access to his account.
