PIPS, Tiger Beer to Host Huge Ping Pong Tournament

Tiger Pong tournament assures a pretty fun night at the Brooklyn ping pong center (http://nypress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/TigerPong_Logo.jpg) It's safe to say that if you asked someone if they liked any of the three following things --beer, art, ping pong-- that they'd probably like at least one of them (and if you happened to ask anyone like me they'd like all three). Also, if they liked any of those three, they'd almost certainly like PIPS. And what is PIPS? You're about to find out, and you'll almost certainly like it. A "unique venue that combines Art from emerging contemporary artists and the highly social sport of Table Tennis", PIPS is an awesome Brooklyn spot for some leisurely competition (make sense?) and relaxation. They combine these seemingly unrelated things into sweet environment, and this week, it'll be even sweeter. (I was going to start this post with something similar to [NFL.com's fantasy football commercial](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mq2KvrSx2lI). I opted against it, and instead used the inferior opening above.) On Tuesday, in partnership with Tiger Pong -a ping pong league sponsored by Tiger Beer- PIPS will be hosting a "Tiger Pong Rally Party". This party, which will include free food (oh yeah... do you like food?), free beer, free ping pong, and a separate 32-person "super tournament". It's titular feature is the ultimate tournament for the 16 teams in the Tiger Pong league. These teams are all sponsored by local companies (College Humor, AppNexus, BBOX Radio) and all consist of four members from each respective company. The night, which begins at 8 p.m. and is at 158 Roebling Street, is sure to be an awesome time consisting of revelry and competition. So if you like food, beer, ping pong, or art, and I'm sure you do unless you're a mindless robot, you should head over to PIPS. Check out the pics below of the PIPS joint, Tiger Pong teams and other PIPS ping pong events.
