Police have arrested three [local teachers for smoking pot]. While they werent on school grounds or trying to teach [The Fan Man](http://www.amazon.com/Fan-Man-William-Kotzwinkle/dp/0679752455) while stoned, the three were nevertheless found engaging in illicit activity of the green and leafy variety in front of the Beacon Theatre on the Upper West Side. To be specific, they were passing a cigarette which police somehow managed to discover also contained marijuana. The three ne'er-do-wells teach at Urban Assembly Media High School in Manhattan, but City Department of Education spokeswoman Dina Paul Parks says they will be reassigned to other schools pending the outcome of the investigation. Great! Now other students will have the chance to study under such wise professors the likes of which only a steady weed habit can cultivate.
