A 29-year-old man's cell phone was held for ransom. On Monday, July 1 at 2 AM, the man got out of a taxi on West 60th Street between Broadway and Columbus and realized that he had left his phone in the cab. He called his phone, and a man answered, saying, "Meet me on 96th Street and First Avenue at 5 PM, and I will give the phone back if you give me $400." The victim locked the phone from his computer. The kidnapped cell was a black iPhone 5 valued at $600.
