Soda Can Fight

a man was arrested june 3 after assaulting a woman during a dispute. police said that at 2:44 p.m., zairen chen, 50, was fighting with an upper west side woman on west 86th street between columbus and amsterdam avenues. the woman, whose age was not released by police, got into a cab and threw a soda can at chen. chen took the can in his hand and punched the woman in the face. a witness followed chen back to his job and positively identified him to police. he was arrested and charged with assault.
