the broadway mall association is sponsoring the 33rd annual plantathon and music festival sunday, june 13. the festival is headlined by musicians linda miller and the girls next door. performers from cirque du soleil's banana shpeel will put on a show outside the beacon theatre, on west 75th street and broadway, at noon and 4 p.m.
more than 10,000 plants and flowers will be on sale and 500 exhibitors will display merchandise, including antiques, glassware, pottery and clothing.
