Teen Assault

a 17-year-old girl was taken to roosevelt hospital on july 2 after she was assaulted on the sidewalk in front of 40 amsterdam avenue, between west 63rd and 64th streets. cops said that at 1:13 a.m., crystal rodriguez, 19, and brian garrido, 21, allegedly punched the teen repeatedly and swung a baseball bat at her. both were arrested and charged with assault.
