The Takedown Of Obama Has Begun

Though his credentials on the left would never be questioned, at least one conservative group has already moved to push against an Obama candidacy.

The National Clergy Council's political arm has issued a [press release] warning evangelical Christians to beware the appeal of Obama, complete with a detailed report attempting to shoot down the appeal of the Illinois senator to "values voters."

"Celebrity Senator Barack Obama uses the lingo of the Old Time Religion, but that doesn’t mean it’s his," states the report's intro.
