VAN STOLEN DURING DELIVERY

A Merrick, N.Y. deliveryman had his van stolen while dropping off produce to a store at 2171 Broadway, between West 77th and 76th streets. Cops said that on Sept. 2 at 7:40 a.m., the driver left the white 2007 Dodge Sprinter van for five minutes. When he returned, the vehicle was gone. Police said the 26-year-old deliveryman told them he had left the keys in the ignition and the door unlocked while inside the store.
