Early in the morning of Saturday, May 11, a 24-year-old man from Walworth, England stepped outside a bar on Varick Street to check the time on his cell phone. He then went back into the bar to find his friend. Ten minutes later, he realized that his phone was missing from his left front pocket, where he had placed it before reentering the bar. His cell was an iPhone 5 worth $300.
