Action at NewFest

You don't have to be queer to enjoy a good gay romp now and then, and you can test that theory this weekend with the final screenings at [NewFest]. The LGBT film organizations screens a slew of things you'll probably never see in your Netflix queue (or tell your girlfriend you enjoyed). For a campy, raunchy time, RuPaul returns in [Starrbooty](http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=128620653) as a blaxploitation vixen battling the likes of Candis Cayne and munching on The Lady Bunny's muff. There's something to offend just about everyone, and the flick evokes the fun times of a John Waters film from a few decades ago—except he didn't have porn king Michael Lucas stretching his foreskin before being gunned down by a 7-foot tall drag queen. The cut I saw of the film was still a bit rough around the edges, but rest assured, the diva is back and has no problem going undercover to unravel a sex worker mystery and along the way farting in a man's face, stomping on another's privates and sucking her way to the very end.

And for those who think they've seen it all, Schwarzwald returns once again to give you all the mangina you could ask for. Billed as the "Movie You Can Dance To," what people really want to see is [Buck Angel], the "man with a pussy," flaunt his stuff. The film is a pagan party of odd images and spliced together montages with a thumping beat. Forget dialog, it's all kinky fetish and fun. The [Saint At Large](http://saintatlarge.com/) presents the film Saturday, June 9 at Work (555 West 33rd St.) at midnight. So go ahead and get your tix now.

Oh, and if you want to come hear what I have to say about out actors in cinema and the whole "landscape of outing," I'll be speaking on a [panel] on Sunday, June 10 at 2:30 p.m. at the Affinia Manhattan Hotel (371 7th Ave.) Not sure exactly what I'll say yet, but I'll try to make it juicy.
