AFTER-HOURS THEFT

A man contacted police when a male acquaintance he brought home from a bar stole his wallet and laptop. The 27-year-old victim told police that he met the man on Nov. 29 at Posh, on West 51st Street and Ninth Avenue, and brought him to his First Avenue apartment, near East 74th Street. When the victim went to the bathroom around 3 a.m., his companion for the night allegedly stole the wallet and laptop. The thief immediately made three withdrawals, totaling $347, cops said. The victim was unsure how the thief got his PIN.
