Attempted Boutique Burglary

An employee at Max Mara discovered that someone had attempted to burglarize the boutique March 13. When the 43-year-old woman opened the store, at 813 Madison Ave. and East 68th Street, she noticed that the front door lock was broken and that the rear door was open. However, police said nothing was reported stolen.
