ATTEMPTED BURGLARY

a woman reported that her apartment, on west 91st street between columbus avenue and central park west, showed signs of an attempted burglary. police said that before leaving her apartment on feb. 12 around 11 p.m., the 61-year-old resident noticed damage to her locks. the front door's bottom lock was ruined and the key cylinder was broken, with three out of four bolts removed. nothing was reported stolen.
